Position Overview
Phoenix Data Systems, Inc. is searching for a Junior Accountant to join our growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Account receivable and payable
- Preparing and posting journal entries
- General ledger account reconciliations
- Cost accounting
- Assist in month end closing
- Report creation and maintenance
- Reports to and works closely with the Controller
Required Qualifications and Skills
- BA in Accounting or Finance
- Firm grasp of accounting principles
- Ability to perform mathematical operations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Meets deadlines on a consistent basis
- Comfortable handling confidential financial information
- Close attention to detail
