AIMS.NET Optional Components

Dispatch Center

Dispatch Center provides fast, efficient processing of phoned-in maintenance requests or automatically handles work requests submitted via EasyNet Request (Internet).

High-speed processing of phoned-in requests uses smartfill and preset data to create a work order in seconds.

Work orders are automatically assigned to a technician, or the best five technician opportunities are presented to the dispatcher for manual assignment.  Work orders are then automatically paged and logged for time management and escalation purposes.

Work order response by the technician via telephone or Internet is required to confirm receipt of the page and completion of the work.  Escalation policies are automatic and reassignment and notification of the supervisor are all user-defined.

EasyNet™ Request

EasyNet™ Request links you to AIMS over your intranet.  You can create work orders or check the status of open work orders with the convenience of standard Internet browsers.

Digital Dashboard

Digital Dashboard is a “gauge” style presentation of key performance indicators.

The gauges are configurable by various performance indicators or ratios such as Critical Life Safety and Equipment PM Completion ratios.  They are also configurable by department, facility, equipment type, risk and many other opportunities.

The gauges and data refresh automatically and step through a user-defined sequence.

Aims.pda

AIMS.PDA puts work orders in the palm of your hand. Using your PDA technology, view workloads, open/close work orders, add equipment and perform a physical inventory.  AIMS supports Palm OS and Windows CE (Pocket PC).

Laptop Field Access

Laptop Field Access lets you take your work orders with you.  You can open/close work orders and add/change and view equipment information on the laptop.  Upon returning to the office, just upload the information into AIMS.

Morning News™

Morning News™ runs your Report Macro reports at preset times, then sends them to a designated printer or emails them.  Morning News™ also will look for work order-based events on specified equipment, departments or other critical items from a prior day or shift and have the report automatically ready for you in the morning.

Resource Manager

Resource Manager automates the assignment of personnel to work orders based on combinations of equipment type and/or area or an individual piece of equipment. With Resource Manager you can globally reassign work when an employee changes responsibilities, is reclassified or leaves the department.

Mobile Messaging (auto paging) sends work orders electronically – right from inside AIMS to pagers.

Performance & Quality

Performance & Quality lets you identify and monitor trends on relevant issues.  You can analyze work requests by such things as response actions and failure codes, corrective work order response times, repeat repair occurrences and the frequency of no-problem found or operator error.

Parts Inventory

Parts Inventory tracks in-house parts with purchase order number, part number, description, cost, in-stock and on-order.  Parts Inventory tracks parts receipts, adjustments and inventory relief against specific work orders to achieve costing.

Contracts Management

Contracts Management handles all aspects of service contracts, including tracking vendor service and performance, with numerous contract cost-to-value analyses.

Purchasing

Purchasing automates parts procurement.  Purchasing tracks the complete purchasing cycle – from requests to back orders and shows vendor purchase histories.  Purchasing can be separate or integrated with Parts Inventory.

Archive

Archive keeps current work orders and equipment records separated from out-dated information.  Archive moves user-selected periods of work order records, obsolete equipment and codes out of the current records, but keeps the data in the database for quick viewing and printing.

Equipment Tester Interface (eti)

Equipment Tester Interface (ETI) transfers PM Procedures and Tasks to the medTester 5000C.  After testing is completed, user selected results are transferred from the medTester to the AIMS database.

ETI closes work orders for equipment that passed inspections, creates a quick open/close work order for unscheduled tests that passed and reports on all equipment that failed inspection.

Equipment interfaced includes: Defibrillator, Infusion Pump Analyzer (Infutest 2000 series), Electrical Surgical Unit, Non-Invasive Blood Pressure and SP02 Analyzer (Oxitest Plus).
