Equipment Information
Equipment Information
provides you with relevant information to manage equipment maintenance. Examples include: equipment history, warranty
information, risk/inclusion, manufacturer and model specific details, HIPAA
information, life-cycle costing, contract detail, parent-child relationships
and pre-assigned maintenance personnel.
Risk/Inclusion
Factor
Through
AIMS Risk/Inclusion Factor you can establish a risk-based prioritization
system. These factors become the basis
to determine which equipment should be included in your equipment management
program and when to schedule periodic PM inspections.
· Medical Equipment factors are based on AHA’s Five Category Risk Assessment.
· Utilities Management factors are based on JCAHO’s Utilities Management Program [PTSM PL.4.1.].
· Life Safety compliant.
Equipment
Duplication
Duplication
speeds data entry when adding new equipment.
Equipment information and PMs are duplicated
in one step. Specific data, as in serial
number, cost center and PM scheduled date can be easily changed.
Life-Cycle
Costing
Each
piece of equipment can be classified by asset category and assigned an
estimated useful life and depreciated life.
Information
Services
Tracks
all IS-related information and devices associated with a specific piece of
equipment.
Data
Expansion
The
equipment Data Expansion lets you define up to twenty-three fields to meet your
specific data needs.
Troubleshooting
Guide
This is a place for you and your staff to
enter unique repair information and technical knowledge about types of
equipment.
Preventive Maintenance Scheduling
Preventive Maintenance
(PMs) can be scheduled by individual equipment or
globally by equipment type. PMs can be based on defined periods or consumed hours
(metered), can be turned on/off seasonally, or have floating or fixed due
dates. Also, required parts and
materials can be listed on the PM.
Fixed
& Floating PMs
You
can schedule PMs on a fixed or floating cycle.
Manufacturer/Model
Specific PMs
You
can set default PM procedures for manufacturer/ model combinations.
Managing
PM Schedules
You
can set scheduled PMs to be bypassed during the
off-season (e.g., for air conditioners or sprinkler systems).
You
can set a grace period (e.g., end-of-the-month) from the scheduled due date
before a PM is “past due.”
Work Orders
Work Orders
track all work requests from PM to repairs for in house and contract labor and
material. Over 17 included reports
provide open, closed, PM and non-PM information.
Quick
Open/Close
Quick
Open/Close shortcuts the data entry process for services performed without a
previous request.
Work Order
Notes
Notes
let you make individual notations about the service performed on a piece of
equipment or work order.
Batch
Close
AIMS has the ability to close multiple work
orders in one quick closing process with appropriate time applied.
Alerts
& Previews
AIMS alerts you when other
open work orders exist for the same equipment tag number. Also, you can view all open work orders and
preview scheduled work orders.
Labor Productivity
Labor Productivity analyzes work order
and non-work order activities providing efficiencies and productivity data for
employees. Reports include employee
productive and non-productive time, work accountability and efficiency,
estimated vs. actual hours and PM workload forecasts.
Data Managers
Data Managers ensure all data entry is
standardized to your specifications.
This creates the data integrity necessary to obtain complete and
credible reporting.
Security
You
can create a simple or complex security system. Access can be controlled by
facility, component, file, toolbar function, and some data fields—all with one
configuration set to the user logon.
Customer Service
Customer Service lets you create standard forms to apply to work requests and
completions. You can have AIMS
automatically email confirmation to your customer when a work request is
received, closed or both. Also included
is a link to a Customer Service Survey.
Automated confirmations provide effortless communication and improve
customer satisfaction.
Reports
AIMS
Reports help you respond to daily issues and provide the big picture to make
timely decisions. Reports can be set up
easily through a variety of user-defined filters, sorts, sub-sorts and date
parameters.
Reports
can be created three ways: Detailed for
analytical purposes, Summary for a management overview, and VIP for an
executive summary. Reports can be
printed immediately, held for printing later or emailed.
Report
Macros let you run routine reports with just “two clicks” – first on the report
name and then on the chosen macro.
Report Macros are set once for sorts, filters, and preset designated
periods (e.g., yesterday, last month).
Export to Excel
Export
to Excel efficiently and easily downloads AIMS data to Excel. You can move as much or as little data as
needed to standard Excel spreadsheets and graphs.
