PROGRAMMER/SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Phoenix Data (Southfield, MI) is looking for an experienced programmer/software developer.

Phoenix is a Southfield based company specializing in hospital equipment maintenance software for over 20 years.

Phoenix is a leader in the industry serving over 900 customer sites nationally and internationally.

Required Technical Skills

· Education and Work Experience

· BA or BS in computer science

· Minimum 2 years experience or demonstrated ability

· Experience with Web applications

· Programming Languages (proficient in one of the following)

· Visual C++, MFC and ODBC or

· C#

· Additional Programming Languages (proficient in at least one of the following)

· Java Script

· ASP

· .NET

· Palm OS – C++

· Pocket PC – C++

· Understanding of network principles (sockets, TCP/IP, client/server)

· Database

· MS SQL Server

· SQL

· T-SQL

Qualifying Personal and Professional Skills

· Excellent organization and written documentation skills

· Ability to work with all levels of system development, project management

· High level of personal integrity and quality in work performance, customer satisfaction and product development

· Ability to find innovative and practical solutions to challenging customer and product development needs

· Strong concern to achieve quality and cost objectives timely

· Highly dependable and loyal. A willingness to work extra during crunch periods and/or help the team achieve its objectives
